Based on the case of poor management and the leadership practice, the organisation has identified lack of communication skills from the leadership team and the challenges the leaders are having, are lack of clear direction, ineffective feedback provision, low transparency and poor active listening. And to be able to address this successfully, the organization needs to develop an effective plan, and this start with objectives and goals- what the organization want to achieve.-below are the objectives.
- Deepens understanding by actively listening to different views.
- Improve transparency by communicating openly, explaining decisions, sharing information about processes and challenges, and providing access to data and reports.
- Providing feedback by encouraging a two-way conversation, offering of meaningful suggestion and regular practice of giving honest feedback.
- Provide clear direction by providing clarity on specific questions, setting meaningful goals and communicating proactively.
This will help shape the beginning of the change initiative.

Objective One. Deepen understanding by actively listening to different views.
Aim:-To deepen the understanding of active listening skills within the leadership team
Impact:-This will reduce interruption and judgment by the leadership team by 50%.

This will encourage the leadership’s team to fully concentrate when others are talking and understand what they are saying, rather than just waiting to speak and going into conclusion.
Will Inspire them to understand and share the feelings of others and helps create a more linked and helpful environment where employee feel valued.

Objective Two. Improve transparency by communicating openly, explaining decisions, sharing information about processes and challenges and providing access to data and reports.
Aim:-To build trust, increase accountability, improve employee engagement and increase teamwork
Within the organization.
Impact:-This will lead to open and transparent communication, consistent follow ups by giving and receiving constructive feedback, recognition of contributions and empowering of employees with decision making within the organization.
Recommended training and timeline:-Soft skills training on providing positive feedback and transparency.
Event: Workshop and on-going reinforcement. (Why)
The workshop might not be enough to fully implement and implant these practices on the leadership team; the workshop can develop practical skills like giving and receiving positive feedback. The leadership team can learn from the workshop but the issues of consistent follow up by giving and receiving positive feedback without on-going reinforcement and a structured implementation plan, the impact of the workshop may reduce with time.

Objective Three:
Providing feedback by encouraging a two-way conversation, offering of meaningful suggestion and regular practice of giving feedback.
Aim: To drive constant improvement, personal growth and increase performance by creating an environment of trust and open communication.
Impact: this will lead to commitment from employees and healthier problem-solving.
Recommended training: soft skill training on emotional intelligence, problem solving and strategic thinking.

Workshop can equip the leadership team with approaches to navigate and resolve disagreements positively and to turn possible friction into opportunities for development and reinforcement of relationships. While mentorships can help the leadership team to recognise areas for development in both verbal and non-verbal communication by offering detailed and actionable response.

Objective Four:
Provide clear direction by providing clarity on specific questions, setting meaningful goals and communicating proactively.
Aim: To ensure everyone knows their roles, responsibilities, goals and reducing confusion and maximizing effectiveness by actively communicating information to prevent misunderstandings and encourage operational teamwork.
Impact: This will lead to confident decision making, transparent and honest communication and demonstration of accountability by the leadership team.

Event: Workshop and seminar.(why)
Seminar will equip the leaders with knowledge that they can learn from others through their practical experience since seminar involve discussion and sharing knowledge on particular concept. While the workshop will equip them with practical skills of solving specific problem.
Timeline: (on-going training and reinforcement which can involve e-learning, coaching and mentorships and team-based activities) to enable continuous learning and development. (Step Four to follow).
